The UK + foreign reviews of the "Falken FK510" were good and I am impressed by their wet weather handling, especially during an emergency-braking incident in a storm. I had perfect control of the car, a "Kia Sportage".

For the price, pretty decent tyres. Far better than the set I had previously which cost twice as much. Car feels much more planted on the road at higher speeds now I’ve the same on all 4 wheels and I’ve much more confidence into corners. Definitely not winter tyres but they are clearly sold as summer tyres so no complaints at all.

I noticed handling in the wet improved immediately although I’d expect it to as my tyres were low previously. Don’t really throw it about so difficult to comment on dry grip. They are all still on and legal so all good. I notice a bit of road roar on the motorway but not bad. Could have bought cheaper but would have been ditch finders!!

Our Mercedes is our family car, and therefore the tyres are very important. We have found that the Falken FK510 225/50R17 FALKEN FK510 98Y XL is both an excellent value for money tyre and super quality. This is our 3rd set over two different vehicles. Well worth buying.

I bought these for my wife's car because she doesn't do a lot of miles each year (3,000). They replaced Continentals and were much cheaper. To be honest, when I have driven her car, I haven't noticed a difference to the Continentals so why pay the extra price. I will probably buy them for my own car when I have to replace 2 together and I do around 15,000 miles a year.
